Chief Dan George

1899-1981 Chief of the Tsleil-Waututh Nation a Coast Salish band whose Indian Reserve is located on Burrard Inlet. He was an actor, musician,poet and author. He portrayed Old Lodge Skins in Little Big Man (1970). and Lone Watie in The Outlaw Josey Wales. Sold. Acrylic. ~Erla Mottram
