Courtenay began painting in 2024 to spend time with her mother Erla who was given four months to live in August 2024. Erla has twenty years of painting experience and Courtenay is truly grateful to mentor under Erla. And the best part is that Erla has defied the doctor’s predictions and outlived their expectations. Courtenay enjoys watercolour and acrylic and particularly enjoys reading books about colour theory. She lives in Kelowna, BC Canada with her husband Shawn.
